WHY WE DO IT
Over 25 years of dedication have refined our replicable model, establishing a robust presence in Nashville and expanding globally into Latin America, East Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. Through biblical discipleship, we openly share lessons learned from this narrow road of a journey, going from aspirational dreams to transformative realities, impacting lives and communities. We often tell new communities where we work that their future is our past. We're not just experimenting with ideas or implementing borrowed concepts, but working from the experience of having walked with God on this mission. So join us in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of God, on earth as it is in heaven.
Advancing the Great Commission
Jesus taught that his disciples should engage in the Great Commission, making disciples of nations. In essence, he desires his community of disciples—those who have learned from him—to offer other communities a model based on practicing his teachings. This model should guide these communities towards replicable implementation, leading to a world marked by justice and righteousness. Under the lordship of Jesus, such discipleship can bring welfare and benefit to the village, town, city, or nation where the discipleship community resides.
Biblical Discipleship
While many Christian discipleship models focus on a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and active engagement in God's work, biblical discipleship specifically emphasizes the 'how' by grounding every aspect of this journey in Scripture. This approach ensures that discipleship is not merely shaped by tradition or cultural norms, but is firmly rooted in the teachings and examples provided in the Bible. By prioritizing scriptural guidance, biblical discipleship offers a clear, direct path to following Jesus, ensuring that all practices and beliefs are aligned with the core principles of the Christian faith.
On Earth
As It Is In Heaven
The Bible teaches that only those endeavors built on hearing and acting upon God's word are sustainable. The Kingdom of Heaven manifests on earth through the obedient implementation of God's initiatives. While recruiting people for heaven is commendable, it doesn't fully encompass Jesus' vision, as he taught his disciples in response to their question about prayer. Jesus emphasized that God's will should be done on earth as it is in heaven. The rule of God in heaven is established, and on earth, it is ushered in through the obedience of His people. By living out His word daily, they impact their communities with everlasting life, love, justice, righteousness, peace, and goodwill for all.
