COVID-19 has given our global, national, and local communities unprecedented challenges with regard to public health, labor, and the economy. On behalf of your G.O.D. Int’l family, I want to extend our condolences to all the families and communities who have suffered loss as a result of the virus. May God be with you. Whether the loss was due to the actual sickness, or subsequent efforts to contain the virus, many are left without work for an undetermined amount of time.

At Global Outreach Developments International, we have implemented all of the CDC, WHO, national, and local government recommended practices to our day to day functioning. This has caused several major changes, including: The Institute (college) and the Academy (k-12) have moved to an all online format for the remainder of the semester; Any employee with symptoms or who have family members that are vulnerable to the virus (e.g., elderly, immunosuppressed, asthmatic, etc.) have been given the opportunity to work from home; all non-essential business has been put on pause; routine, deep cleaning on the campus and all related venues; routine hand washing, social distancing, and other interpersonal guidelines implemented for employees continuing to work.

This is not a time to be afraid, but a time to utilize the wisdom and knowledge made available to us, so as to not be unwitting contributors to the spread of a disease. There is a difference between fear and danger. Fear is something that Jesus said we shouldn’t have, “do not fear” (Matthew 6:24, Matthew 10:21, Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Luke 12:22-26, John 6:20, John 14:27). Fear is something that should be directed towards God who replaces it with knowledge and wisdom (Psalm 19:7, Psalm 94:19, Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 9:10, Philippians 4:6-7, 2 Timothy 1:7, 1 Peter 5:7-10, 1 John 4:18,). However, what is dangerous is something that once identified, must be avoided, where the wisdom of God cautions the simple to move away from such foolishness (Proverbs 1:32, Proverbs 8:33, Proverbs 14:16, Proverbs 15:32, Proverbs 22:3, Isaiah 5:21).

The links at the bottom of this page are for you and your loved ones to consider as we all do our part to stop the spread of this virus, while avoiding the paralysis and unproductivity of those afraid and without knowledge. In the Bible, it’s rarely the courageous that are applauded for their confrontation of what is dangerous, but it is the faith filled believer in God who enacts His wisdom and knowledge to overcome the challenges of their day.

… For the righteous will survive by their faith – Habakkuk 2:4

God bless you, everyone! Gregg CEO & Founder of Global Outreach Developments International
