Celebrating God’s Faithfulness: Year-End Reflections from The Philippines

Guest User

As 2025 kicks off, we reflect on a significant season of growth and celebration for our South East Asia team in the Philippines. December was filled with year-end gatherings and a landmark moment: the Tahannan community’s first unified church service.

The month began with Thanksgiving celebrations for the different groups within the community—Tahanan Kids, Tahanan Youth, Women’s Fellowship, and Young Professionals. Participants shared powerful testimonies about how God has been at work in their lives over the past year.

The youth highlighted their time at SLAM Bible Boot Camp, describing it as formative for their spiritual growth. The mothers expressed deep gratitude for the support they’ve found in fellowship, often through emotional testimonies. For the young professionals, the Bible Conference stood out as a pivotal moment where they encountered God’s presence in new and profound ways. One young leader even preached during her testimony, inspired by the biblical training she received through the Institute.

A Milestone Moment: The First Unified Church Service in Tahannan

On December 27th, C24GOD Philippines held its first unified church service—a long-anticipated milestone for the Tahanan community. For years, the various groups have operated independently, holding their own Bible studies and events. This service marked the first time that Tahanan Kids, Youth, Young Professionals, and Mothers came together as one community for worship and teaching.

Ruby-Ann Larion shared, “Sunday’s pilot church service felt like a dream come true. Seeing all the groups unite in worship and learning together was amazing.” Another attendee, Judy Ann Amba, added, “It felt truly special to see everyone together. I’m excited to be part of this growing community as we work to center our lives on God and His will.”

Moving from separate Bible study groups to a unified church gathering is a big transition, and our SEA team has stepped into this new season with faith and commitment.

As an organization, we are grateful to see how God is building His church in Tahanan. Please join us in praying for the Filipino leadership team as they continue to develop unity, strengthen relationships, and invest in the spiritual growth of their community.
