The 3 and 4 year old class is introduced to basic foundational concepts of dance, and have a great time learning to coordinate their bodies in ways they never have before.
On June 4, 2016, Global Outreach Developments launched the Center Street Dance Academy. A one day per week dance program on Saturday mornings for just 7 weeks, it offered 4 classes of ballet, jazz and hip-hop disciplines, to 38 enrolled students ages 3-13.
In the Fall of 2016, the Dance Academy moved to the Arts at Center Street stage, where the number of teachers and classes offered doubled. The average class size at the Dance Academy is 12 students with a teacher to student ratio of 1/6. Classes are offered in jazz, hip-hop, ballet, boys hip-hop, and introduction to dance movement.
The Dance Academy will host its Fall Recital on December 16, at 5:00pm at the Arts at Center Street venue. Admission is by ticket only. Classes will resume in January, 2017. For more information, visit www.centerstreetdance.com or email info@centerstreetdance.com
