This has been one of the most abundant fall harvests to date! In the past, our fall harvest has been considerably smaller than our summer season, but this one has been the opposite—we are packing produce boxes until they are overflowing!
The onset of the rain this last week afforded us some more time to work towards completing a grant we are writing to the Whole Kids Foundation, in hopes of obtaining funds for a garden for the children at the Academy for GOD. Our desire is to create a separate garden for our kids where they will be free to experiment and be creative as they continue learning about all aspects of food production.
Updates from our sister garden in Uganda have been encouraging. Lots of new beds are being installed as they continue to expand their efforts. You can be in prayer with us as we are working with the farmers on how best to approach pest and disease issues.
