Our work spans continents, from training pastors in Uganda to solar infrastructure improvements and job training in El Salvador. This year’s campaign, Great Gain, highlights three core initiatives—Biblical Education in the developing world, Global K-12 Education, and Sustainable Christ-Centered Community Building—all designed to empower people and uplift communities.
How is Biblical Education Great Gain?
When you give toward Biblical Education, you’re equipping individuals with the tools to transform their communities. At the Institute for GOD, students like Mawejje Joseph in Uganda share how their education has deepened their relationship with God and empowered them to build others in His image. May Joy Mendros from the Philippines reflects on the daily impact of starting her day with prayer, which she learned at the Institute: "Starting with God is so important—when you give everything into His hands, He takes care of it."

How Innovative K-12 Education is Great Gain?
In Uganda, Rebecca Lubega describes how her time at the Academy for GOD helped her discover and explore talents she never knew she had, from writing to cooking. The Academy’s Biblically based curriculum ensures that students not only excel academically but also grow spiritually, incorporating God’s word into every subject they study. As Barnabus Kimbugwe shared: “I always knew that the teachers were going to be there and were going to help me.”

The work of building healthy communities is at the core of our mission. In Uganda, Lawrence Ssemakula describes the transformation he experienced through C4GOD Uganda: “We have been helped to grow and develop in ways I have never experienced before.” Programs like SLAM (Students Living a Mission) and Community Works equip individuals to serve others in ways that follow Jesus’ example. As Orlando in El Salvador put it regarding our SLAM (Students Living a Mission) program, “These programs are not only good for the people we are serving, but also for us.”
