This week, the Hopewell neighborhood (where our international campus is located) gathered together at Emmanuel Apostolic Temple for a candlelight vigil to pray for peace in the midst of civil unrest around the nation.
Residents from surrounding area also gathered at the vigil. Pastors from a few area churches were each invited to offer a prayer for what is a fragile time in our nation's history. After the time of prayer, neighbors stayed at the church and enjoyed a time of fellowship together.
1st Peter 3:10-12: For “Those who desire life and desire to see good days, let them keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit; let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer...”
Below are a few moments we captured from the evening.
