WorkWell Youth Jobs Initiative Provides 200 Job Opportunities to Nashville Youth

In the heart of Nashville, WorkWell isn’t just a summer job program—it’s a gateway to empowerment for youth aged 14-24. With a commitment to fostering confident and skilled leaders in the workplace, WorkWell offers over 200 job opportunities each summer, providing a transformative experience that goes beyond mere employment.

What sets WorkWell apart is its holistic approach to youth development. While many programs focus solely on job placement, WorkWell goes the extra mile by offering quality opportunities for skill development and growth. Through hands-on experiences and personalized mentorship, participants are equipped with essential soft skills such as receiving feedback, leadership, flexibility, project management, and public speaking—skills that are invaluable in any career path.

One of the hallmarks of WorkWell is its diverse range of job opportunities, catering to a variety of interests and aspirations. This summer, we’re thrilled to introduce exciting new job spheres, including Junior Mechatronics Engineers and Junior Event Assistants. Whether you’re interested in hands-on trade work or event coordination, there’s something for everyone at WorkWell.

Every summer, WorkWell youth receive a headshot as well as a resume they can use for future job applications.

For those with a passion for working with children, the Camp Skillz Jr Counselor position offers an opportunity to facilitate summer camps focused on character development. Meanwhile, aspiring environmental engineers can join our team to design productive and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces, contributing to the development and maintenance of our local gardens.

The High School Internship Program remains a cornerstone of WorkWell, providing youth aged 16-18 with invaluable experiences in non-profit work. With opportunities in environmental engineering, mechatronics engineering, summer camp facilitation, media creation, and more, interns receive personalized training and mentorship, preparing them to effectively serve their community.

For budding creatives, the Content Creator Intern position offers training in photography, videography, advertising, and more. Working alongside the WorkWell Media Team, interns produce captivating content that showcases the impactful work being done throughout the summer.
